Fluffy Tiramisu Pancakes with Cream

If you love experimenting with your pancakes, this recipe is just for you: a combination of fluffy pancakes with a tiramisu taste. But why stop at the pancakes? The cream is what makes this tiramisu experience complete. This recipe includes instructions for home-made tiramisu cream.


1 cup flour

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

1 Tablespoon sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

1 egg

2 tablespoons instant coffee

2 Tablespoons melted butter

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Ingredients for the cream:

4 oz. cream cheese

1 cup whipping cream

2 tablespoons coffee liqueur

1 Tablespoon powdered sugar


In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, butter, and vanilla. Add the instant coffee and pour the wet mix into the dry ingredients. Stir until just incorporated. Don’t over mix, leave some small lumps in the batter.

Heat a slightly greased non-sticking pan. Pour ¼ cup of batter per pancake and cook for about 3 minites. Turn around and cook the other side for about 2 minutes.

Instructions for the cream:

Beat the heavy cream with the sugar. Add the cream cheese and the coffee liqueur. Keep beating until incorporated. Put the cream over the pancakes and sift some cocoa on top.
